Summer camp One- Aladdin Jr

Brandi McClaran is well known throughout the Birmingham local community theatre network as an actress and professional vocalist. She serves as the Theatrical Arts Director for Leeds Arts Council and is the 2025 Board President. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Health Education from UAB. Past Directorial credits are She Loves Me, Addams Family, The Musical, Fiddler On The Roof, Anastasia (co-director) and Young Frankenstein (co-director). She has also directed many variety shows for LAC and has co-directed both Peter Pan Jr and Mary Poppins Jr. Retired from Corporate Human Resources at L'Oreal, she now enjoys teaching vocal lessons, baking scrumptious desserts and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

This camp is designed for rising 2nd graders through rising 12th graders. The workshop will be held June 2nd- 15th with performances June 13th-15th. Each child who attends the workshop will have a part in the play and will appear on stage. Tickets to all performances will be open to family and friends of students for $10 each.
We would love for your student to be a part of this wonderful experience! The cost of camp is $225 per student, and if more than one sibling attends, the cost of each additional sibling is $200. Summer Camp Two- Shrek Jr

Allie is excited to be directing her second camp at Leeds Arts Council. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida Southern College, where she studied Musical Theatre. She recently completdher Master’s Degree at the University of Montevallo in Secondary Education. Allie teaches 7th and 8th grade English but has a passion for theatrical performance. Her most recent roles include Louise/Gypsy, Audrey/Little Shop of Horrors and Sally Bowles/Cabaret. She is excited to combine her passion for teaching with her passion for theatre.
