Barry Graham is the Leeds Arts Council’s featured artist in December.  The public is invited to the opening reception on Sunday, December 1, 2019, 1:30-3:30 pm to view his beautiful artwork.  Admission is free.

Barry has a passion for creativity, art, architecture, design, and other visual creative media. His inspiration comes from nature and the environment.  As a painter, designer, illustrator, and en plein air instructor, he appreciates the academics and study of art in any media, however he especially enjoys the spontaneous discovery throughout a creative development that proves valuable.

Barry grew up in Midfield and Forestdale and graduated from Ringling College of Art in Sarasota, Florida where he honed his painting skills in oil, acrylic, and watercolor and graphic art design.

Mr. Graham’s art will be on exhibit through December 30, 2019.  The Arts Center is located at 8140 Parkway Drive, in downtown Leeds.  The gallery is open during events.  In case of inclement weather, call the center at 205-699-1892 to confirm opening hours.
