The Leeds Arts Council is proud to host the book signing of Cedric L. Threatt on Saturday, August 8th from 1:30 until 3:30 pm. His two books, The Seven Keys to Success : Seven Keys to Unlocking Your Hearts Desire and Seven Keys to Unlocking Your Divine Potential, will be available for purchase.

Mr. Threatt is a husband, father, author, poet and speaker who lives in Odenville, Alabama. He is married to his wife of 26 years, Sharmon. They have four children and five grandchildren.

He developed a passion for writing and speaking at an early age after his 7th grade literature teacher entered him in a poetry reading contest. He continued to read as well as write his own poetry through high school. After finishing high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served faithfully for four years. Upon returning home, he began working for Southern Natural Gas Company as a Gas Controller/SCADA Operator, but poetry was still his first love.

As a result of his love for poetry and the spoken word, he has written and self published 12 books for children and adults. He has been featured on numerous TV shows, in newspapers and magazines. He has visited many schools and other venues where he has shared his books and poetry with audiences of all ages. His dynamic personality has caused many to refer to him as Cedric “THE EDU-TAINER”.

When Cedric’s not writing or speaking, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing golf with friends. He has an earnest desire to be an inspiration to everyone through his writing and speaking talents, by helping them realize their potential within and by encouraging them to follow their dreams.

Come and meet Cedric L. Threatt. He will inspire you.
